At the practice of Dr. Netta Shaked, SOUTH BEACH PSYCHOLOGIST® IN MIAMI BEACH, we believe that every child is gifted and talented in her or her own unique way. For the school system, however, a 'Gifted Child' must meet certain criteria in terms of his or her cognitive capacities. HOW WILL MY CHILD BE TESTED FOR GIFTED?
Parents, rest assured. During the gifted evaluation, we successfully engage even the most anxious of test takers and the shyest of children. We make the evaluation fun! The process of gifted testing entails administration of a standardized IQ test. The usual length of time to complete testing is 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your child's need for breaks. We perform gifted testing in Miami Beach and we also perform gifted evaluation in Miami in other locations. We know you wants results fast, so we will provide the results to you quickly: within 2-3 days. Most insurances usually do not cover gifted testing.
